Visitors to our websites

When someone visits www.yourindependant.co.uk, which is owned and hosted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS), we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. IndependantTM is offered by Yorkshire Ambulance Service and delivered by leading national telecare provider, Wealden and Eastbourne Lifeline Limited (Welbeing).

All personally identifiable data provided by you through the enquiry form accessible on this website is held and processed by Welbeing as the Data Controller for the IndependantTM service. Yorkshire Ambulance Service do not process or have access in any way to personal data provided through this website.

Your personal details will be held and processed by Welbeing to provide you with information in response to your enquiry and to contact you in the manner you have requested, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your personal data will never be passed to third parties without your express permission.
